The IBS MUN mini-conference is an educational simulation conference of the United Nations
General Assembly in which students learn about diplomacy international affairs and work as
the representative of a county to solve problems with other delegates from around the
world. Each UN member meets and discusses the world’s most pressing issues and ways to
resolve them.
The topics discussed in this assembly included The Middle East conflict, The local
displacement due to violence, and political issues in Venezuela and Colombia. Also, the
drastically Reducing Maritime Pollution, including Plastic, Sustainable Aquaculture for
Healthier Societies and Environments. In addition, the children vulnerable situations, in La
Guajira, Choco, indigenous communities in, and the Returning to cultural celebrations such
as the Carnivals after the Covid -19 pandemic.
