The competition had the objective of reinforcing the students ‘mathematical
skills in order to make their learning more fun and motivating once again. For 7
days, IBS students and teachers were able to play at Mangahigh interactive

games and earn points to qualify for third place in the competition ranking. The
activities were based on critical reasoning, calculation, and situations applied to
everyday life. All IBS, students were rewarded for their great performance by

receiving participation diplomas, and the top 10 highest scores, were honored
with medals for the first, second, and third place in each grade.

By practicing, reinforcing, and applying mathematical skills, students improve
their knowledge while increasing learning skills. Likewise, as an institution it
allows us to consolidate the acquired knowledge and enhance the critical-
analytical thinking skills of our students. For this reason, the competition

organized by Mangahigh was of great benefit to our growth, as a school that is
constantly concerned about the significant advancement of its students in such

a controversial area as mathematics. By Mr. Joser Rodriguez
