                               THE SENIORS’ HOLLYWOOD STARS

                                                 HOMECOMING

     On  September  13,  2024,  the  long-awaited  Homecoming  event
     took  place,  marking  the  presentation  of  the  Seniors  2024-2025,
     who  introduced  their  class  theme,  “Hollywood  Stars.”  This
     celebration included the entire IBS community, from students to
     parents,  who  had  the  opportunity  to  enjoy  this  spectacular
     presentation.


     The event was designed to resemble the Oscars ceremony, with
     a  red  carpet,  two  elegant  hosts,  and  a  vibrant  dance
     performance  by  the  Seniors,  who  portrayed  Hollywood  icons
     such as Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe, and John Travolta.


     The  event  opened  with  two  videos:  the  first  was  a  heartfelt
     montage of pictures capturing the Seniors growing up together

     over the years, and the second was the traditional video in which
     each student shared a meaningful phrase or quote. Following the
     videos,  the  presentation  officially  began  with  warm  words  from
     one of the students acting as the event host
     .
     One  by  one,  the  Seniors  made  their  way  down  the  red  carpet,
     radiating  confidence  and  excitement  as  they  were  met  with
     enthusiastic  applause  from  the  audience.  Then,  it  was  time  for
     their  incredible  dance  performance  which  showcased  a
     dynamic  variety  of  rhythms-from  pop  to  samba  to  salsa-  that
     had the crowd fully engaged


     To  close  the  memorable  Homecoming  event,  the  second  host
     took the stage alongside the homeroom teacher and high school
     coordinator,  both  sharing  thoughtful  closing  remarks  before
     joining the Seniors in a final champeta dance.


     Behind the scenes of the Seniors Hollywood Stars’ homecoming

     there  was  an  immense  amount  of  dedication,  rehearsals,  and
     teamwork that brought this spectacular performance to life. The
     Seniors poured their hearts into every detail, not only showcasing
     their  dance  skills  but  also  their  production  talents-one  student
     even  created  the  entire  music  mix  used  for  the  performance.
     Their  dedication  and  talent  left  a  legacy-a  Homecoming
     celebration that will be remembered for years to come.                                                   7
