IBS Love and Friendship Day
Love and friendship is a popular celebration in Colombia, and the
International Berckley School included it as a meaningful process to
allow the students to share treats, and swap gifts with classmates.
The secondary students played the game called “The Secret Friend”,
in which the students picked a name of a classmate from a raffle bag,
and for one week, students gave each other some clues to guess who
their secret friend was. In addition, the tenth-grade students were in
charge of selling carnations to the students, which were kits with
different types of sweets or toys in order to raise funds to organize the
senior's graduation celebration.
On the other hand, the primary students did something similar, the
students gave each other boxes full of candies and toys, they also
brought food to share, and watched music videos, furthermore, they
had lots fun making lovely handicrafts.
